Outbound Student Application for 2024-25

Gefeliciteerd met je ambitie om Rotary Youth Exchange student te worden!
Het eerste wat je nodig hebt is een Rotary club uit je omgeving: je sponsorclub. Dit betekent niet dat deze club je kosten betaalt maar deze club is wel verantwoordelijk voor de buitenlandse jongere die in jouw plaats komt. Zonder sponsorclub kan je inschrijving niet geaccepteerd worden. Je sponsorclub zal eerst een gesprek met je hebben om te zien of je een goede kandidaat bent voor een uitwisseling en uitleg geven over het programma. In het jaar dat jij weg bent, zal de sponsorclub hostclub zijn voor de buitenlandse jongere die naar jouw gezin en/of je omgeving komt. Verder moet je een gemotiveerde student zijn met goede schoolresultaten. 

Het Rotary Youth Exchange programma is een middelbare schoolprogramma: kandidaten voor een uitwisseling in het jaar 2024-2025 kunnen geboren zijn in het jaar 2006, 2007 of 2008. Hoe jonger de studenten, hoe meer bestemmingen mogelijk zijn. Een aantal landen aanvaarden geen studenten die reeds 18 zijn.

Zorg ervoor dat je bij het begin van het proces alle instructies zorgvuldig en volledig opvolgt. Mocht je problemen hebben, kijk dan onderaan de pagina voor een contact email. 
Tips: 1. Middle name, Suffix en State/Province hoef je niet in te vullen
        2. Telefoonnummers graag in internationaal formaat (+32 ...)
        3. Als je je school niet terug vindt in de lijst, stuur dan een mail, dan voegen we haar toe
        4. Voor de brieven, kun je best gewoon op de pagina typen.
            Copy/pasten vanuit een notitie programma werkt ook, copy/pasten vanuit MS Word gaat echter niet.
           De brieven worden pas opgeslagen als je naar de volgende pagina gaat.
           Je kan er achteraf nog op terugkomen om verder aan te vullen

Important Notes:
  • This application process will require you to complete several pages of information, upload a number of photos, and follow up with supplemental forms and instructions that will be e-mailed to you after your completed application is received. Those additional documents will include medical and dental report forms, program fee information, and more. Be sure to read them thoroughly and take all appropriate action as required.
     
  • If your application is not submitted and is inactive for 30 days, it will be deleted from our files. So make sure you complete it in a timely manner.
