Outbound Student Application for 2027-28

Congratulations on your ambition to become a Rotary Youth Exchange student! Applications for the long term program or short term program are on this site for Rotary Distict 7120. District 7120 is located in upstate New York that includes the city of Rochester.  If you do not live in Rotary District 7120 you will need to find a Rotary District or Rotary Club where you live that you can submit your application through. 

As you begin this process, be sure that you follow all instructions carefully and completely. Should you run into any problems or have any questions, check the bottom of each page for contact links.

If this is your first time here, you will need to create an account so that your application information can be stored and retrieved for you as you work through the steps. Click the "Set Me Up" button below.

Important Notes:
 
  • Outbound Interviews will be held on Saturday, November 21 - 22, 2026 for you and your parents.  The location of the interviews will be sent to each applicant.  The application (Part 1) deadline is November 1st.
  • This application process will require you to complete several pages of information, upload a number of photos, and follow up with supplemental forms and instructions that will be e-mailed to you after Part 1 of your application is received.  Those additional documents will include medical and dental report forms, program fee information, and more. Be sure to read them thoroughly and take all appropriate action as required. These documents must be completed before your Interveiws. 
  • Your email address is information that we require.  If you only have a school email address, please create a personal at home email address for this application process.
  • If your application is not submitted or is inactive for 30 days, it will be deleted from our files. So make sure you complete it in a timely manner.
